Terms of Service

Vmarket is a platform for re-selling and trading virtual items backed by the Steam™ gaming platform, property of Valve Corporation (US). We are not affiliated with Steam™ or Valve Corporation in any way. For support, do not contact Steam™, contact our support staff through Support if you have any questions.

DEFINITIONS

Sub-merchant means an individual who is utilizing the Vmarket platform to sell their own Steam™ items.
Customer means an individual who is utilizing the Vmarket platform buy Steam™ items from other sub-merchants.

USAGE OF THE WEBSITE

To use Vmarket, you must be over 18 years of age. You must always check on your own that any actions you perform at the website are correct. The website shall not be held liable for any of your actions which may result in damages or any other negative consequences for you. You may attempt to improve the website by developing and using dedicates solutions or bots to automate operation of the website, however, you may not tamper with or compromise internal operating algorithms of the website.Vmarket is fully liable for all offered products after deposit. We will provide customers with an invoice after each purchase.

EXCHANGES

All trades made with our bots are independent from each other. Extra money from one trade will be saved as balance and can be used at a later time, there is no guarantee however that there will be items available for that price.

SECURITY

A user shall check their exchanges on their own. A user shall be held solely responsible for their account and password, and for keeping the password confidential. A user shall be also held solely responsible for restricting access to their account they use at this website. Staff members will never send you empty trade offers asking for item verification. Also, do not add any staff members on Steam™ for site support.

RIGHTS OF Vmarket

We reserve the right to refuse any item. We reserve the right to deny service for any reason.

AMENDMENT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Vmarket website may amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Amended usage terms and conditions of this website shall take effect as soon as published at this website. Look through this page at a regular basis to remain aware of the current version.

TRANSFER

The website Administrator may assign, subcontract or otherwise transfer their rights and/or obligations hereunder without notifying you so or obtaining your consent. You, however, may not assign, subcontract or otherwise transfer your rights and/or obligations hereunder.

STORAGE AND WITHDRAWAL OF USERS’ BALANCE

The Vmarket wallet is neither a bank account nor any kind of payment instrument. It functions as a prepaid balance to purchase digital goods offered onVmarket.
(a) When registering at the website via Steam™, a user shall register a digital wallet which shall be linked to their Steam™64 ID account.
(b) A user may enter money to their digital wallet which shall display the current balance.
(c) A user may only use the money to buy digital soft goods which are offered for sale at the website.
(d) Money cannot be withdrawn from a user’s digital wallet at the website, unless its earned by selling items.
(e) We reserve the right to ban a user’s account without explanation, should the user violate the TOS.
(i) When goods are being exchanged, the amount that can be entered to a user’s wallet is limited to the amount equivalent to USD 3000.

THE WEBSITE’S FEES

The website’s fee shall be set for each particular case of exchange or purchase, 5 percent, increasing to 15 percent, if the words Vmarket are not in the sub-merchant's Steam™ username. Minimum fee is 0.01 USD.

PAYMENT MANAGEMENT

Vmarket takes full responsiblity for all monetary made via the platform. Users must always contact Vmarket first with regards to payment issues including refunds, cancellations and chargebacks.

DISPUTE MANAGEMENT

In the event of a dispute arising between Vmarket and the user, Vmarketwill provide dispute management and take ultimate responsibility for finding a resolution.

TITLE

All benefits, rights of ownership and Service profit shall be and remain sole property of Vmarket BV having its principal place of business at Wilhelminastraat 78a, 6245 AX, Eijsden, Netherlands. Registration Number 80471560 and of the third parties which submit the relevant operating equipment and techniques. The website and the Service are protected by copyrights, by the trademark, and by other local and international intellectual property laws.

REFUND, RETURN, CANCELLATION POLICY

Purchases of balance are fully refundable within 14 days when the balance has not been used to make an item purchase on Vmarket. Once balance has been used or it has been more than 14 days after the balance purchase, it can not longer be refunded. Under rare exceptions, such as loss of items due to system failure, refunds are possible without these constraints.

SIGNING IN AND Steam™

When you sign in through Steam™, we are not provided with your login credentials, instead we are given your Steam™64ID, which is a value unique to your Steam™ account. This unique identifier can be used to get information such as your owned games, friends, avatar, and display name from the Steam™ Web API.

COOKIES

We use cookies in order to improve your experience on the site by tracking information like session tokens. All sessions are kept secure on our servers.

Your Name, Steam™ Profile, Trade URL will not be shared with third parties;

GOVERNING LAW

Any dispute, controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract, or the breach, termination or invalidity thereof, shall be settled by the Netherlands Commercial Court, Amsterdam. The language used in proceedings before this court shall be English. To the extent permissible under law, parties hereby waive their right to settle disputes before any other competent authority. In case this article is not valid according to the applicable law, parties agree to rewrite, adjust and/or interpret this article in a manner consistent with the invalid article.

INTERNATIONALISATION

In case of any textual or semantic inconsistencies in the content of this website, the English version will prevail.

INFRINGEMENT OF 3RD PARTY RIGHTS

Vmarket respects the rights of intellectual property owners. If you believe that any Content infringes your intellectual property rights or other rights, please contact us. If Vmarket is notified by a copyright holder, that any Content infringes a copyright,Vmarket may in its sole discretion remove such Content from the Service, or take other steps that Vmarket deems appropriate, without prior notification to the user or other party who supplied or posted that Content. If such user or other party believes that the Content is not infringing, he or she may in certain circumstances submit a counter-notification to Vmarket with a request to restore the removed Vmarket, which Vmarket may or may not honor, in Vmarket's sole discretion.

PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

The following list includes activities that are prohibited: Not providing accurate information to Vmarket and our customers at all times. Not acting fairly and misusing Vmarket’s features or services. Attempting to damage or abuse another sub-merchant, their listings or ratings. Sending unsolicited or inappropriate communications. Attempting to circumvent the Vmarket sales process. Operating more than one selling account on Vmarket without a legitimate need. This list guiding and not complete.

PRICE LIMITS

Sub-merchants can sell their items for a minimum price of 0.02 USD and a maximum price of 5000 USD.

SUB-MERCHANT LIABILITY & OBLIGATIONS

The sub-merchant is fully liable for all the products deposited. If they sell a fake or broken product, they will be held accountable and will have to pay back the damages made. After the deposit the liability will switch to Vmarket.
Sub-merchants are obliged to use Vmarket as intermediary and are not allow to perform sales directly to the customers. Vmarket acts as single point of contact for all sub-merchants.
